The 45th Anniversary of the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships celebrated nearly half a century of elite high school competition and running legacy. As a Videographer on the team, I captured event coverage in the days leading up to the race and throughout championship day—documenting athlete arrivals, interviews, and on-course moments that defined the weekend’s energy. I also served as Co-Editor for the official race-day recap, shaping the story through pacing, sound design, and visual rhythm to convey the excitement, emotion, and tradition of this milestone event.

On Preparation Day, I documented athlete training sessions, course walkthroughs, and team interactions leading into race weekend. My focus as Videographer on the team was on capturing the buildup and anticipation—showcasing the athletes’ mindset, camaraderie, and readiness before the championship. The footage emphasized the quieter, more personal side of competition, blending candid moments with cinematic visuals that helped set the tone for the weekend’s storytelling.
