The Nike Cross Nationals is the premier high school cross country championship in the United States, bringing together the nation’s top runners from eight regional qualifiers to compete at Glendoveer Golf Course in Portland. As the Same-Day Videographer and Co-Editor, The Team captured race-day footage and collaborated on rapid-turnaround edits delivered within hours of the event. The project required precise camera work, quick on-site coordination, and fast-paced post-production to meet same-day release deadlines, showcasing the intensity, emotion, and atmosphere of championship competition.

Following race day, the Nike Cross Nationals Daily Recap Series captured the full athlete experience surrounding the national championship weekend. As a Videographer on the team, I filmed athlete interactions, team events, and behind-the-scenes moments throughout the multi-day experience—highlighting the energy, community, and culture that define NXN. The recap videos blended storytelling with cinematic visuals, providing an authentic and engaging look at the athletes’ journey from arrival to competition and celebration.
